Set in Europe between 1965 and 1968, THE FUR COAT is a short period drama about hand-me-down lives, a first love that ends behind a restaurant window, and the quiet, unglamorous kind of devotion that a whole generation mistook for something lesser. Because back then love was respect, and respect was love. She asked for the one thing a factory man could never afford. She never expected him to find a way.
